Finding a Way to Start
What makes an ordinary task hard to begin?
Think back over the past two weeks of studying, hobbies, and everyday responsibilities. This exercise looks at four things that can stand between you and getting started: an unclear first step, pressure to begin well, other things competing for your attention, and waiting to feel ready. A higher score means you reported more friction in that area. It doesn’t mean you’re lazy, and it isn’t a diagnosis. This is an original self-reflection exercise for adults 18 and over.
